​Verity Johnson

This piece, based on real events, tells the story of a young woman who is kidnapped by deprogrammers whose aim is to convert her to heterosexuality. It combines elements of poetry, physical theatre and dance to explore themes of mother/daughter relationships, isolation and sexual violence.
